The Hem of His Garment

The Spirit of the Lord is here.
I come before His presence with singing.
I rejoice in His Great, Holy and Righteous Name.

I often wonder and think to myself, what am I doing here? My God, the one Who Created me so perfectly, lovingly, sweetly and graciously created me in love, in the image of His Only Begotten son; His blessings are upon me. I was heavenly created in the form of a human being with a heart like Jesus Christ.

Blessed with eyes that allow me to see, my sight guides my steps, with adoration for my God for giving me a tongue to speak to the Lord thy God. I go to Him in prayer, thanking Him for my life. I live my life in obedience to the Lord, to speak to Him through praise magnifying and glorifying His great Name; the Only Name that has all power for He is Wise, Eternal, Immutable, Omniscient, Omnipotent and Omnipresent.

Jesus has made an immense impact on my life. It is because Jesus lived, died, rose and lives that I am here. I am here to serve a purpose. I ask myself what is that purpose; my purpose. What is God’s plan for the life of this child? The child that fears the name of the Lord.

Why am I here? Why I have been allowed and why am I blessed to breathe the breath of life with a myriad of great experiences that have changed and molded me into the person God needs me to be? A great number of my life-long experiences have made me wiser, some have made me happier, and some have even made me bitter, but just for a moment. I have learned the true meaning of forgiveness. Through my experiences I have obtained profound wisdom that has given me a rock solid foundation where my feet are now securely planted. The hands of Almighty God have touched me, opened my mind, eyes and heart to see things that I could not see had Jesus not risen from the grave on the third day. I want to know my purpose in life.

I have come to the realization that God wants to use me. I feel it in my heart. But what does He want me to do? Living my life in accordance to the almighty word of God and I still don’t know what my purpose is nor the plan God has devised for me.

As I live my life each day, I depend on my Divine Aid, my wisdom and knowledge to guide and direct my path, to know and do God’s Will.

God is planting seeds in my heart. These seeds are the Word of God. These seeds are the harvest that grow bountifully and endlessly by the Hands of God. These seeds grow by the nourishing and warmth of the raising of the Son. By way of these sweet seeds, I pray for God’s revelation for my life for these seeds are the fruits in my life that have helped shaped, molded and fashioned me into the likeness of Jesus Christ. Planted within some of my seeds are parables and miracles which are merely lessons and blessings that teach me, keep me and prosper me.

Some of my seeds have grown and many continue to grow. Rooted in the loving Word of God, I am still searching for answers, but my spirit is moving; moving deeper and deeper into the Word of God. He is always uppermost in my thoughts. Every word I speak, everything I do, I do to reverence my God. I am excited, elated and delighted to do His Will.

So I am here. I am here to serve the Lord, to obey the Lord, to observe and keep His great commandments. I am here to declare His righteousness and His glory.

I am here to make a joyful noise to the Rock of my Salvation. I come before His presence with thanksgiving. I am here to serve the Lord with gladness. I am here to sing a new song unto the Lord for He hath done marvellous things. I am here to bless His name. I am here to give unto the Lord glory and strength. I am here to give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name, to bring an offering and come into his courts. I am here to exalt the Lord and worship at His footstool for He is holy. I am here to worship the Lord in the beauty of His holiness.

I am here to love, obey, honor, serve, trust praise and magnify the Lord thy God. I am here to rejoice at the remembrance of His Holiness and in the firmament of His glory. I am here to fulfill His great commission.

If this is the only reason I am here, I hope I live forever.
